Prospective Members

Ph.D. Students
Students in Georgetown’s physics program who are interested in Dr. Paranjape’s work are encouraged to reach out regarding joining our lab for a research rotation. The guidelines for doing so are outlined in the student handbook. We are excited to welcome all students with an interest in microsystems, nanotechnology, polymer physics and applications thereof for medical device fabrication.

Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students can gain valuable research experience through our lab, while exposing themselves to exciting new projects in our field and working in a high-tech laboratory environment. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Paranjape, and should plan to commit 10+ hours of work on research each week. Successful undergraduates have completed thesis projects with the lab, as well as being authors and co-authors on numerous publications over the past few years.

High Schoolers
Exceptional local high school students with an interest in physics, nanotech, and medical research are encouraged to contact Dr. Paranjape to join our lab. Many such students have conducted successful research and gained valuable research experience through our lab. Some have been named authors/co-authors on publications, and have placed highly in local, regional, and national science fairs.
