Undergraduate researcher Pia Bhatia graduated today. Further, the department honored Pia with three awards: Honors in Physics, the Undergraduate Research Award for her work with the Paranjape group, and the Treado Medal for excellence in physics studies, research, and service to the department. Big congrats to Pia!
9/20/20 – Pia Bhatia Named Clare Booth Luce Scholar
Undergraduate researcher Pia Bhatia is one of Georgetown Physics’ two Luce Scholars for the 2020-21 academic year. Pia will spend the year furthering applications of micro/nanotechnology in the health field. Specifically, she will be designing and fabricating a platform for studying the toxicity of drugs and metal ions on cells. This project is a collaboration with researchers at the US FDA’s CDRH/DBCMS.
